COMPETITION METHOD AND ROUND DESCRIPTION

CAMPUS HUNGAMA

Each contesting institution can select their two representatives in campus Hungama, the contest being held in the campus will be authorized by the students' unions.

Writing skill:

Photo feature

Q & A: 

Contestant should  answer the Question paper that goes through the  following areas.: 

General awareness, religious studies,  reasoning and math,  linguistic ability and Presentation skill.

Presentation skill:

One minute intellectual talk on fixed subject connected with area of general knowledge.  

NB: four  leading persons in the score sheets of Q & A and write up are eligible to participate in the presentation round.

INTERCOLLEGIATE MEET

The selected contestants from campus Hungama will meet each other in the particular zones as part of intercollegiate meet .As regards to the score, 10 contestants will be elected to the final round, Grand finale.

Observation power:

This section is to check the observation capability and memory power of the contestants as a video will be shown mixed with bits of different videos, picture and audios connect with following areas:

• Linguistic ability
• Religious studies
• General awareness 
• Reasoning and math

By the end of the show, contestants will be given the questions related to the shown video.

Writing skill:

Write an annotation of  a video clip. 

NB: Fixed candidates will be eliminated regarding to the score of observation power and writing skills.

Talk and proceed:

You have to continue the resting part of shown  as video clip.

Discussion will be in three languages on a general issue. The separate time will be given  for each languages. 

RECOVERING CHANCE FOR ELIMINATED CANDIDATES:

Presentation skill:

Eliminated candidates can recover their chance through their good presentation by tackling a difficult stage.

RESULT PUBLICATION

Winners of the intercollegiate meet will be declared by the end of the round but they are not expected to be elected to the grand finale. As per the score sheet of the contestant in the whole zones, 10 most eligible contestants will be elected to the grand finale. 

GRAND FINALE

Grand finale is of 10 different rounds that measure the efficiency of the contestants in the efficiency of the contestants in the mentioned areas. The round includes interview conference, Ashwamedha, fatwachair, spot your mind, academic debates, etc.

Writing Skill:

• Photo essay

Linguistic Ability:

• Pic talk: a presentation of rapid moving slides of different images will be shown for the contestant and they are in need to talk about it .
• Spot translation on given audio.

Religious Studies:

• Fatwa chair 
• spinning the wheel 

General Awareness:

• Ashwamedha 
• Interview conference  
• Interaction  with  celebrity.

Reasoning and Math:
